One of the goals of the Burnaby Board of Education is to keep the community informed about District finances. The Board values the support of the Burnaby community and we encourage you to get involved as we prepare the 2025/2026 operating budget.
Given the fiscal challenges of balancing the 2025/2026 budget, the Board will seek input from its stakeholders and members of the public on budget priorities.
The Board will be meeting with and gathering information from employees, students, and partner groups. Members of the community are welcome to submit ideas and suggestions by email to budget@burnabyschools.ca, or in writing to the Board’s Finance Committee at 4054 Norfolk Street, Burnaby, BC, V5G 0C3. The deadline for submissions is April 25, 2025.
There will be a special public budget meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the District Administration Office, 4054 Norfolk Street. If you would like to make a presentation or virtually attend this meeting, please register with the office of the Secretary-Treasurer at 604.296.6900 (ext. 661004) or by email at budget@burnabyschools.ca before 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
